London to Warm Up at Midweek as UK Showers Shift South

June 17,2015; 10:43PM,EDT

London, together with the east and south of England, will be feeling warm ahead of a showery cold front on Wednesday. Temperatures will climb to the lower to middle 20s C ahead of scattered afternoon and evening showers.
Elsewhere, the United Kingdom will see a few showery outbreaks along and behind the south-bound cold front, stirring up a gusty breeze in many places.
Wednesday's southern warmth comes on the heels of a widespread high temperature of 22 to 24 degrees celsius in much of England and eastern Wales.

Going forward, dry weather, aside from the odd shower, will become dominant Thursday and Friday as Atlantic high pressure builds eastward.

Another low and trailing cold will pose the potential for a few showery outbreaks at the weekend.
