The Cleveland area will experience a brief reprieve from wet weather before another storm system moves in later this week.
"The next storm system nearing from the west will bring the humidity back in Thursday along with an increased chance for showers and thunderstorms," Erickson said.
Daytime will shift to the mid-70s by late in the week; a common high temperature for this time of year is 80 F.

Baseball fans headed to Progressive Field to watch the Indians play the Tigers through Wednesday shouldn't have to worry about any rain delays or postponements.

The weather will remain unsettled on Friday with mostly cloudy skies and some showers, Erickson said.
"Temperatures will remain below average heading into the weekend as the jet stream will take a dive far south across the eastern half of the nation," he said.
