The National Weather Service Southern Region Headquarters website was displaying the message above amid a two-day regionwide outage.
The National Weather Service Southern Region was experiencing regionwide webpage outages on Tuesday, April 21, and Wednesday, April 22, ahead of a potential severe weather outbreak in the South.
According to the National Weather Service Southern Region Headquarters, the region's website was displaying a temporary page as 'servers are undergoing maintenance.'
Numerous local forecasting sites elaborated on the issue via Twitter.
"We are experiencing a region-wide internet outage that affects reaching our webpage," the National Weather Service Fort Worth tweeted on Tuesday night.

In the meantime, some local forecasting sites provided backup webpages for basic weather information.
The webpages were restored on Wednesday afternoon.
Severe storms are forecast to threaten the southern Plains and lower Mississippi Valley on Wednesday, increasing in number from those that occurred in the region on Tuesday.
