According to the National Weather Service Southern Region Headquarters, the region's website was displaying a temporary page as 'servers are undergoing maintenance.'
Numerous local forecasting sites elaborated on the issue via Twitter.
"We are experiencing a region-wide internet outage that affects reaching our webpage," the National Weather Service Fort Worth tweeted on Tuesday night.

In the meantime, some local forecasting sites provided backup webpages for basic weather information.
The webpages were restored on Wednesday afternoon.

Webpages are available but graphics are still unavailable. We're sorry
