Showers will persist across the Seattle area through late week before drier weather moves in for the weekend.
Rain can be expected through the middle of the week, but a brief period of dry weather can be expected by midweek.
Temperatures will remain in the middle 50 through the start of the weekend.

"The onslaught of Pacific moisture will abate, if on temporarily, and allow for drier weather for Wednesday," AccuWeather.com Meteorologist Randy Adkins said.
More showers are expected Thursday, but a ridge will build in to conclude the week and should bring a couple of days of relatively nice weather, he added.
