Rain will hold across the Seattle area to start the new week, as an unsettled weather pattern continues to affect the Pacific Northwest.
Residents and visitors can expect periods of through Sunday with a gusty wind out of the south, AccuWeather.com Meteorologist Brian Edwards said.
High temperatures will reach the lower 50s throughout the weekend.

"Rain will continue on Monday to start off the new week with temperatures remaining in the low 50s," he added.
After a period of rain, drier air will work into the region by Tuesday.

"There can be a morning shower, then perhaps some afternoon sunshine," Edwards said.
Highs will remain in the low 50s.
Partly sunny skies can be expected at midweek, Edwards added.
