Warmer conditions in the Dallas Metroplex will remain through later this week, but residents shouldn't put away their winter jackets just yet.
A warmup continues through Saturday, as highs gradually increase into the upper 60s and low 70s, AccuWeather.com Senior Meteorologist Ken Clark said.
A normal high temperature for this time of year is in the low 60s.
Plenty of sunshine will be around through Thursday, before cloudy and breezy conditions on Friday and Saturday.

While dry weather will linger through much of the week, Clark said some rain or a shower cannot be ruled out on Friday or later in the day on Saturday.
Despite the cloudy conditions on Saturday, the mild weather will provide a better opportunity for outdoor activities.
By the second half of the weekend, Clark said temperatures will take a nose dive as colder air moves into the region. After highs in the low 70s on Saturday, Sunday could see highs struggle to get out of the 40s with a little bit of rain around.
