Following the recent breezy, and cold weather that has been gripping the Atlanta area, temperatures will rebound through the weekend as rain returns.
Clouds will increase in advance of a developing storm system ahead of the weekend, AccuWeather.com Meteorologist Carl Erickson said.
"There can be a rain or snow shower in spots with a wintry mix of precipitation possible overnight," he said.
Much warmer air can be expected to move into the region for the start of the weekend with a couple of showers. Temperatures rebound into the 50s.

"Showers may evolve into a steadier rain Sunday with highs in the lower 60s," Erickson added.
Clouds will linger Monday and the chance for rain will remain during the day with highs in the lower 50s.
