The week will begin with partly sunny skies and above-average temperatures in Detroit, but showery weather is expected for several days this week.
On Election Day, highs will remain in the upper 50s, but it will be breezy with periods of rain during the day.

Drier conditions will return on Wednesday, as sunshine gives way to clouds later in the day.
By Thursday, daytime highs will hover near 50 F and it will be breezy with occasional rain and drizzle.

It will become chillier on Friday as highs will drop into the mid-40s. Temperatures are expected to remain in the mid-40s through the weekend, with rain likely on Saturday and Sunday.
