As
September progresses, there is a noticeable increase and decrease in
certain weather elements. The peak of hurricane season occurs around
Sept. 10, when the ocean is typically at its warmest. The lengthening
nights contribute to an increase in fog, while there tends to be less
convective thunderstorms popping up. Average temperatures will remain on
the decline as the direct rays of the sun migrate toward the Tropic of
Capricorn.
