A storm moving up the Atlantic coast with rain will briefly disrupt the dry weather and warming trend this week around New York City.
Earlier concern for rain on Thursday will likely be realized.
The combination of rain, wind and other conditions may result in AccuWeather.com RealFeel® temperatures in the 50s at times on Thursday. Actual temperatures will be held to the 60s.

Minor flooding at times of high tide can occur on Thursday along the New Jersey coast.
By the time, the storm departs on Friday and on through the weekend, the surrounding air mass will continue to modify. Dry air and clear skies will expand eastward from the Midwest.
The weather will be dandy for checking out the foliage in northern upstate New York and northern New England.
In the New York City area, highs in the lower 80s are in the offing for Saturday and Sunday with abundant sunshine.
