After a stormy start to the weekend, several days of dry and seasonable weather will settle into the Minneapolis area.
Sunday will feature the coolest day, as temperatures will only rise into the mid 60s. However, a rise back into the low 70s will occur during the new week.
With fall beginning on Monday at 9:29 PM CDT, folks will find high temperatures through the middle of the week to be typical for this time of the year.
Low temperatures will start in the low 50s for Monday but will warm up to near 60 by Wednesday.
High pressure will be the dominant weather feature across the region, providing dry and sunshine-filled conditions until Wednesday.
That is when an area of low pressure will pass through, bringing the threat for a shower or two as well as plenty of clouds. This will not be long lived as more dry weather will round out the end of the week.

Despite the season changing to fall, warmer air is expected to return for the end of the week and perhaps into the weekend.
Folks in the area will find this week to provide many days to head outside for walks, hikes, picnics, and other activities.
