Dallas will see a stretch of dry, sunny weather for the next several days.
Other than a slightly below-average dip early in the week, temperatures will range from the mid to upper 90s, on par with usual averages for this time of year. Overnight temperatures will see a large swing from the upper 60s rising into the upper 70s as the weekend draws near.
Skies will be mostly sunny with no rain in the forecast until the middle of next week. Much of the West is dealing with significant drought and Texas is no exception.
The lack of rain will not aid the over 35 percent of the state classified as being in a severe drought. Nearly 3 percent of the state is in exceptional drought, the highest classification according to the U.S. Drought Monitor.
