Weather conditions will continue to improve in Washington, D.C., as the storm system that brought heavy rain and high winds to the Atlantic coast earlier this week moves out to sea.
It will be notably more refreshing as cooler, less humid air begins to settle into the city and especially the northern and western suburbs into Friday.
Temperatures will be slightly below average through the end of the week, but a warming trend will occur over this weekend as the Nationals face-off against the Milwaukee Brewers at Nationals Park.
