In the wake of the drenching, gusty and disruptive storms through Tuesday this week, drier air will settle into the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, area through Thursday.
Some sunshine is forecast for the city and suburbs with lowering humidity Wednesday and Thursday, while downpours still threaten to ruin the day at the beach Wednesday.
The less humid air will set the stage for lower temperatures at night. Lows will dip to unseasonably cool levels in the northern and western suburbs into the end of the week, while record chill holds up over the Midwest.
