Following a wet start, the weekend is shaping up to end on a brighter and milder note in Minneapolis.
Gone on Sunday will be the rain and thunderstorms that put a damper on Saturday.
An area of high pressure will instead allow dry weather and sunshine to return. In turn, temperatures will rise to a seasonable high of around 75 F.
The weather will be great for those wanting to spend a part or most of Sunday outdoors.

Just remember to take the proper precautions to protect yourself from the sun's harmful rays.
Some clouds will filter overhead as Sunday progresses, a sign that the return of rain is on the horizon.
