Cooler, less humid air will settle over the Philadelphia area into the first part of the weekend.
Abundant sunshine is in the offing both days and high pressure will settle eastward.
After a cool start, a warmer afternoon is in store for Father's Day.
Very warm and humid conditions will build over the region during much of next week.
How warm it gets will depend on the amount of sunshine and where complexes of thunderstorms wander each day from the Midwest.
