A storm system moving across the southern Plains will shift northeast and bringing some rain and a thunderstorm to Chicago by midweek.
The workweek will begin dry with cooler-than-normal temperatures with highs around 70 F and some sunshine on Monday.
The Chicago White Sox will begin a four-game series against the Detroit Tigers on Monday evening at U.S. Cellular Field and evening conditions should be good for baseball. First pitch is set for 7:10 p.m. CDT.

Due to the rain and accompanying clouds on Tuesday, it will be cooler with high temperatures failing to get out of the 60s.
The chance for rain will extend into the evening and that could cause weather delays for the 7:10 p.m. CDT matchup between the White Sox and Tigers.
Temperatures will rebound Wednesday with highs in the mid-70s although it will remain cloudy with a shower and thunderstorm around.
