People in the Minneapolis area may want to keep their umbrellas handy heading into the new week with wet weather in store through Tuesday.
A steady rain is in the forecast for Monday, but temperatures will still be around normal, reaching the middle 60s.
Although some showers are expected to linger into Tuesday, it will not be a steady rain like what is expected on Monday.
Cooler weather will also move in on Tuesday with temperatures only reaching the middle 50s.
Those headed to the ballpark on Tuesday night to watch the Minnesota Twins host the Boston Red Socks may want to wear a raincoat in the event that a shower moves over during the game. Temperatures are also forecast to dip into the 40s during the game.
Drier weather is on tap for Minneapolis on Wednesday, although temperatures will remain in the 50s, about 10 degrees below normal for mid-May.
The chance of a shower will return to the city by Thursday.
