After a few days of persistently rainy and stormy weather, Chicago is in store for some sunshine late this weekend.
Periods of clouds and sunshine are in store for the city both Friday and Saturday, but some passing showers will dampen the area during the afternoon hours.
Both days will be cooler than the average temperature for this time of year, with highs reaching only into the mid-50s by Saturday.
However, for those looking to get some time outdoors, Sunday will feature partly sunny skies as temperatures hit the 60 F mark.
