Throughout the week spotty rain and clouds will linger in Seattle as steadier rain moves in on Thursday.
Snow and frequent showers will be more prominent in the Cascade Range.
By Thursday, steadier rain will move in, along with a cold front, AccuWeather.com Meteorologist Brian Edwards said.
"There may be a couple of showers, but that will not be an all-day event," Edwards said.
"It'll dry out Friday with high pressure building in briefly and some sun will remain in the forecast for the start of the weekend," he said.
By the weekend, there will be intervals of clouds and sun with temperatures remaining in the high 50s to low 60s.
