While winter's wrath will continue through midweek in Chicago, temperatures will warm up a little bit by the end of the week, providing brief relief from the bitter cold.
Tuesday and Wednesday will both be cold with temperatures below freezing; a bit of snow will also blanket the city both days.
By Thursday, temperatures could rise above freezing for the first time in March. However, clouds will break during the evening hours, and some ice will be possible Thursday night.
Those traveling Thursday night should use caution, as a bit of ice present on the roadways may create some slick conditions.

Clouds will roll in on Friday but temperatures will rise near 40F. Some snow or rain showers are possible during the late afternoon and evening hours.

The clouds will continue through the day on Saturday, but temperatures will dip back towards the freezing mark.
However, come Sunday the weather will feel warmer, as 40F temperatures are accompanied by sunshine.
