Flooding problems are possible on Thursday as rain moves into the Detroit area.
The combination of rain, melting snow and rising temperatures may cause street and poor drainage flooding.
As the precipitation starts Thursday, there could be some freezing rain in the morning until the temperature rises above freezing.

The melting may also cause roof problems around the region with ice-damming damage and possible roof failures, particularly on flat roofs weighed down by snow and rainwater.
The end of the week will be dry, except for the possibility for a snow shower on Saturday. It will turn colder and breezy on Sunday with a high in the mid-20s and a low in the low teens.
