Los Angeles will experience its warmest day so far this December on Monday.
An offshore flow will remain in place across Southern California through Monday, keeping away the cool air from the Pacific Ocean and the accompanying low-hanging clouds.
Abundant sunshine will instead remain in control, sending temperatures to the middle 70s in Downtown Los Angeles on Sunday. A high of 82 F is expected on Monday, making for the city's warmest day so far this month.
Dec. 1 currently holds that distinction with a high of 80 F.
The offshore flow has also kicked up Santa Ana winds, which will gust between 40 and 50 mph in the typical wind-prone populated areas Saturday night and Sunday morning. Stronger gusts will whip the mountains.
