Snowy Sunday in the NFL: Five Games Feature Snowy Conditions in One Day

The National Football League has undergone many changes in the last decade, but nothing makes the sport seem as vintage as a snow game.

Thus, when five games were played Sunday afternoon in snowfall, social media lit up with gleeful posts about snow-covered football fans and wintry scenes between the lines. Thanks to Winter Storm Dion, snow fell during games in Green Bay, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Baltimore and Washington, D.C., while games in Cincinnati and Denver showed the remnants of recent snow but received no new snowfall during play.
