The weekend felt more like spring in Harrisburg, but more typical December weather will arrive by Christmas.
Harrisburg set a new record high on Sunday when temperatures around daybreak soared to 70 F, surpassing the previous record of 64 F from 1949.
Hopefully residents did not bury their winter jackets in the closet.
Noticeably colder air is headed back to Harrisburg, causing temperatures to fall out of the 50s and into the 40s on Monday. Temperatures Monday night will then drop into the 20s.

Umbrellas will also be needed on Monday as some rain dampens the city in the morning.
A couple of snow showers will then fly on Tuesday. A few spots could get a dusting or even an inch of snow by Christmas.
