After ending the weekend on a slick note, more cold air will dominate weather headlines in Pittsburgh this week.
Some untreated roads and sidewalks will stay slippery through Sunday evening as a bit of snow and freezing drizzle persists.
As temperatures rise overnight, plain rain and drizzle will follow for the Monday morning commute. Temperatures will continue to rebound to a high of near 40 F on Monday.
A wet snow shower Monday afternoon will remain residents of Pittsburgh that a lengthy break from cold weather will not come this week.
Fresh cold will arrive Monday night through Tuesday, causing temperatures on Tuesday to struggle to reach 30 degrees. The same can be said for Wednesday and Thursday.
