The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) reports that around 12:10 p.m. CST Saturday a magnitude 4.5 earthquake shook the ground in Oklahoma. It happened 3 miles south-southwest of Arcadia and just 15 miles northeast of Oklahoma City.
The quake was felt at Boone Pickens Stadium in Stillwater while the Oklahoma State University Cowboys took on the Oklahoma University Sooners.
The event was reviewed by a seismologist. The quake occurred about 5 miles below the surface and lasted for a few seconds.
The USGS stated that some small aftershocks could still take place in the aftermath of the main earthquake.

In this Oct. 24, 2013 photo, Prague, Okla. resident Mary Reneau, 70, points to the hairline cracks that have formed in the concrete of her patio that she says were caused by several earthquakes that have rumbled through her town in the past two years. Reneau's home was severely damaged after a record 5.6 magnitude earthquake hit near Prague, Okla., in 2011. A report by the U.S. Geological Survey suggests that "swarms" of these temblors are here to stay throughout a large swath of central Oklahoma. (AP Photo/Justin Juozapavicius)
