Stay ahead of the snow with the latest updates in our live blog.
Heavy snow that unloaded on Philadelphia on Sunday is being followed by an icy mix.
After emerging from north-central West Virginia, a band of heavy snow took aim at Philadelphia. A widespread swath of 4 to 8 inches of snow was measured with locally higher totals.
As of 8 p.m. EST Sunday, Newark, Del., sat at the top of the snow's totals list with 12 inches.
While the heavy snow has ended, an icy mix of sleet and freezing rain will follow the snow.
Travel will remain hazardous, while airline passengers endure more delays, cancellations and headaches.
Shoveling will become a much harder task to complete due to the icy mix further weighing the snow down.

Temperatures will rise above freezing by late Sunday night, leading to a changeover to plain rain. However, a slow Monday morning commute may still result due to wet roads, reduced visibility and low-hanging clouds.
More snow could return to Philadelphia on Tuesday.
