Harrisburg: Arctic Cold, Then Another Storm Forecast This Weekend

The coldest air of the season so far is moving in for the middle of this week around Harrisburg and south central Pennsylvania, in the wake of Tuesday's snowstorm. A new storm will move in this weekend.
Temperatures will dip well down into the teens and could reach the single digits at night through Thursday.
A breeze will add to the cold, producing RealFeel® temperatures near zero at times.
A storm will develop over the Deep South Friday and will head northeastward Saturday.

While warmer air and rain will move up with that storm, odds favor at a period of snow, or icy mix at the onset, Saturday with the potential for slippery roads.
The wintry precipitation is likely to occur during the Army-Navy Classic Saturday afternoon at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. Enough snow and rain can fall to not only impact the game at Philadelphia, but also disrupt travel throughout the Northeast region.
If the storm were to track farther south than currently expected, snow and/or ice would linger for an extended period during the storm with the potential for a significant accumulation.
More details will follow as the week progresses on AccuWeather.com.
