More waves of Arctic air are in the offing for Cleveland this week.
Though the area was missed by the storm moving up from the Southwestern states Tuesday morning, Wednesday will bring snow showers to the area.
The coldest weather of the season so far is poised to settle in Wednesday night into Thursday night.
A slight reprieve from the frigid air will come Friday and Saturday, as the mercury rises into the 30s, but snow showers will return.

Beginning late Friday night into Saturday, the city is forecast to receive between 4 and 8 inches of the white stuff.
Though the snow will not affect the weekday commute, it can pose problems for those headed into or out of town for the weekend. Drivers should exercise caution and allow for more time than usual to get to their destinations.
Temperatures in the 20s and 30s will span next week, and a break from snow may be in sight.
