After a rainy, mild day on Thursday, temperatures will plummet into the 30s in time for the weekend.
Friday will be the city's first chance for some snow this week, as the day's high temperature reaches 34 degrees.
Some clouds and sun are in the forecast for Saturday but even sunny skies will not be able to take the cold air away, as the high temperature is in the upper 20s during the day.
Another possibility for snow on Sunday will finish out the weekend. However, these snowflakes could turn into rain during the evening hours. There is also a chance for some freeze in the area during the overnight hours.
