A dramatic warmup is in store for Cleveland after days of frigid conditions in the city.
After temperatures hover in the upper 20s Wednesday, the high temperature will soar to the lower 40s by Thursday. Cloudy skies will yield an evening shower.
Friday will kick off the weekend with temperatures in the upper 40s. Despite the warmth, there will be little sunshine as showers punctuate the day.

The warmest day of the week will arrive on Saturday as the temperature climbs into the mid-50s. While the day will feel mild, rain and fog will snarl plans to get outdoors.
Those who have to travel should be cautious as visibility will be lower.
By Sunday, the wintry conditions will return as snow mixes with sleet and rain throughout the day.
