Arctic air pouring into the Pacific Northwest and the Plains will also dip into San Francisco.
It won't be as bone-chilling in San Francisco as it will be in the Plains, but nighttime temperatures will be in the upper 30s through Sunday. Freezing temperatures are expected in the normally colder spots through Thursday night.

There could be problems inland with frost and freeze potentials through Thursday night with sub-freezing temperatures, even going into the 20s.
