Atlanta: Dry Days Ahead Followed by Heavy Rain

A couple dry days are in store for Atlanta, but will be followed by heavy rain in time for the weekend.
Wednesday and Thursday will be at least partly sunny with temperatures in the mid-50s on Wednesday and the high 40s on Thursday. Both evenings will have clear skies.

Despite mild air Friday, cloudy skies and rain will overtake the city during the afternoon. By Friday night, heavy rains will develop and continue through Saturday afternoon. Saturday will be the warmest day of the week with temperatures in the high 60s.

The rain will subside by Saturday night but temperatures will drop more than 10 degrees, hitting the mid-40s.
Heading into next week, skies will be mostly sunny for the start of the week followed by some clouds at midweek and then another day of sunshine.
