Though the weekend will bring some chilly temperatures to Minneapolis, winterlike cold will arrive in time for the start of next week.
Saturday and Sunday will push into the low to middle 40s, with periods of clouds and sunshine. Overnight, the lows will drop into the 20s.

The weekend days will likely provide the best chance of getting outdoors, however, before harsh cold returns.
At the start of next week, temperatures will drop into the mid-20s to low 30s.
