Damaging Winds to Close Out Cleveland's Mild Weekend

After a mild and windy Sunday, the weekend will end with a period of damaging winds Sunday evening.
Gusty winds will blow through Sunday in Cleveland, but Sunday evening is when winds within a line of showers and strong thunderstorms threaten to cause widespread tree damage and power outages.
The winds could also lead to flight delays and dangerous crosswinds for high-profile vehicles traveling on Interstates 71, 77 and 90. Loose lawn items will easily get tossed around could become damaged.

The gusty showers and thunderstorms will occur along a cold front, which will open the door for fresh cold air to return to Cleveland.

Saturday night's lows in the 50s and Sunday's highs in the middle 60s will be replaced temperatures in the 40s for Sunday night and Monday.
Blustery winds will create even colder AccuWeather.com RealFeel® temperatures on Monday and could down tree branches loosened during Sunday evening's strong winds.
