A Warm Weekend in Store for NYC

The midwinter chill that moved into the area this week will be a distant memory this weekend.
The tranquil weather will complement walks to nearby restaurants or shops in the city. It would be a great time for sightseers to visit the city as well. However, clouds will limit sunshine and an umbrella could come in handy.
While much of the weekend will be rain free, there can be a passing shower either day.

Temperatures are forecast to climb to near 60 degrees on Saturday and into the 60s on Sunday.
A storm from the Midwest will bring a steady, wind-driven rain to the city late Sunday night into Monday morning.

"A rainy Monday morning commute is in order for New York City," said Expert Senior Meteorologist Dave Dombek.
Downpours will reduce visibilities for those traveling in and out of the city Monday morning. In some cases, ponding on roadways may limit lane travel or exit access, especially in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Colder air will blow in Monday night and Tuesday. Highs Tuesday and Wednesday will be in the 40s with RealFeel® temperatures in the 30s both days.
