If you like days with warm sunshine, low humidity and cool nights, chances are you will like the weather into mid-September around Pittsburgh, western Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia and western Maryland.
At least two more waves of cool air will roll into the region. One will arrive Sunday and stick around into early next week. Another wave is due in later next week.
In between the cool waves, folks who like warmth and humidity may be satisfied as well.
The vast majority of the time will be free of rain for outdoor plans, high school and college football, and construction activities.
The weather at Heinz Field, Sunday afternoon for the Steelers/Titans first game of the 2013 regular season will turn out partly sunny with temperatures in the 70s to near 80 degrees. For people tailgating during the morning and midday, clouds could bring a passing shower.
The next cool front may bring spotty showers and thunderstorms afternoon Wednesday into Thursday morning.
