Upcoming Sizzle for Los Angeles

After cool weather ushered in November, Los Angeles will sizzle before the weekend comes to a close.
Temperatures will progressively warm across Southern California this weekend as high pressure builds across the West.
An offshore flow will be firmly in place by Sunday. Unlike most days, cool air from the Pacific will then not be able to flow into Southern California and low clouds will fail to develop.
The warming trend will not end with the weekend.
Monday will instead become the warmest of the next several days with temperatures at Downtown Los Angeles approaching 90 degrees, nearing the day's long-standing record high of 94 degrees from 1898.
Some inland valley communities, such as Riverside and Burbank, will crack that 90-degree mark.
Southern California will continue to sizzle on Tuesday before a change to cooler weather commences on Wednesday.
