A storm that brought drenching rain to the Northwest Monday will affect the Minneapolis area for much of the balance of the week.Warmth from Monday and Tuesday around Minneapolis will be erased.
The combination of episodes of rain, wind and temperature will send AccuWeather.com RealFeel® temperatures into the 30s at times Wednesday night into Friday.Thursday is forecast to be miserable in the Twin Cities with a wind-driven rain much of the time.
The strongest winds will hold up west of the Minneapolis area. However, folks traveling west over the Dakotas along I-90 and I-94 should be prepared for near-hurricane force wind gusts Wednesday and Thursday.Tranquil and milder weather will return to the region by the weekend.
