Tour de France 2017: Change to tranquil weather expected following warm, wet weekend

Dry and comfortable conditions will be welcomed by racers and spectators at the 104th edition of the Tour de France on Tuesday.
A stark contrast to the heat, humidity and wet weather that affected several stages last week, Stage 10 will have very little in the way of weather impacts.
Temperatures peaking just below the seasonal average of 27 C (81 F) are expected along with low humidity and light winds.

High pressure building over the Atlantic Ocean to the west of France will block any significant weather systems from impacting southern France this week.
This weather pattern will result in largely dry weather while also keeping temperatures close to normal levels.
The greatest threat for any unsettled weather will be during Stage 12 and Stage 13 when the riders venture into the Pyrenees.

There is a small chance for a shower or thunderstorm in the mountainous portions of these stages; however, the chance is minimal and it will more than likely remain dry.
Dry weather will likely continue into next weekend as the racing continues across southern France.
