Warmer in January and February than June? Welcome to New York weather in the year 2017

After a mild, dry winter, the 2017 spring season has been a cold, wet, dank, dreary season;one of the coldest, wettest springs on record,at least for the New York City tristate area.In fact,it's been so cold that there have been some days this past winter that were ACTUALLY WARMER than it was on June 6,2017 when the high temperature was held only in the middle 50's in the NYC area, which is nearly 20 degrees below average for June 6 and is not only near the NORMAL OVERNIGHT LOW TEMPERATURE for June 6,but is also a near record low high temperature for June 6 for many locations in the NYC area. Here's the high and low temperature splits for the city of White Plains,NY, for all the days during the 2016-17 winter season that were ACTUALLY WARMER than the 56/50 registered for White Plains,NY on June 6,2017 from accuweather.com (mostly in terms of the high temperatures as obviously some of the low temperatures on these dates were much lower than the 50 degrees so far registered for June 6)
