Pittsburgh: Spring Weather to Return by Midweek

Following multiple days with highs in the upper 80s, air more typical for the middle of May will roll in during the middle days of the week around Pittsburgh.
Steady rain from Ana will slice to the southeast of the region into Tuesday. However, many locations will get at least one shower or thunderstorm as a cool front approaches from the Midwest. Some locations can be hit with a heavy, gusty thunderstorm.
According to AccuWeather.com Chief Meteorologist Elliot Abrams, "Spring weather will return this week following our taste of summer."

Many folks will notice the change by Tuesday midday and afternoon as a cool breeze kicks in.
In the wake of the front by Wednesday, temperatures will be slashed by about 25 degrees Fahrenheit. High temperatures on Wednesday will be in the lows 60s, but AccuWeather RealFeel® Temperatures will be mainly in the 50s.

Very cool nights are in store Wednesday night and Thursday night. With little wind on Thursday and Friday, strong sunshine will make for warmer afternoons with highs in the lower 70s.
How warm it gets this weekend will be dependent on the speed of clouds and rain from the south and west. Temperatures are likely to be be no cooler than average for this time of the year with lows in near 50 and highs in the lower 70s.
