Following cooler weather in the Los Angeles area over the next several days, light rain will move across the region late in the week.
"A cooler-than-normal pattern will be in the area for much of this week and some rain will dampen the city later this week," AccuWeather.com Meteorologist Andy Mussoline said.
Initially, a storm will move through northern California early this week, but it will bring little impact other than ushering in cooler air, he added.

Temperatures across the Los Angeles area will hover in middle to high 60s over the next several days.
Another storm will move into central California after midweek and usher a little rain into the city Thursday and Friday.
"The rain should not be heavy enough to cause a flood threat and it will generally be beneficial with the ongoing drought," Mussoline said.
Following the late week rain, dry weather will settle in for the upcoming weekend.
