Following a warm and stormy Monday, dry and cooler conditions will persist through the middle of the week in Chicago.
The city will stay about 5-10 degrees below normal this week, with the exception of Monday, AccuWeather.com meteorologist Steve Travis said.
Daytime highs will remain in the middle to low 60s throughout the week. A normal high temperature for this time of year is in the upper 60s.

Fans heading to Wrigley Field to watch the Cubs play the Mets for a three-game series through Wednesday will certainly want to bring a jacket as evening temperatures will reach the upper 40s. The showers and thunderstorms should clear out of the city in time for Monday's game, according to Travis.

The skies will remain cloudy throughout the week, save for Wednesday, which will see mostly sunny skies.
After dry weather sticks around through Thursday, the chance for a shower or thunderstorm will return on Friday.
