Showery weather is expected on Sunday up until the start of red carpet activities for the 72nd Golden Globes Awards in Beverly Hills.
Temperatures will stay about on average (68 F) around the Los Angeles area but the showers will linger.
"There will be showers during the day Sunday. By the time the red carpet starts (late Sunday afternoon), everything will be off to the east and south of the area," AccuWeather.com Meteorologist Mike Doll said.

If headed out on the roads, stay alert to rapidly changing conditions with MinuteCast® to track rain down to your precise location.
The annual event, hosted by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, brings out fans, photographers and TV show hosts who line both sides of the red carpet and wait for the screen stars to arrive at the Beverly Hills Hilton.
After the showers leave the region, sunshine and slightly warmer temperatures are anticipated through the end of the week.
