While a storm brings rain and warmer weather on Sunday, waves of cold air will follow for the first full week of January.
Periods of rain will bring wet roadways and slower traffic through Sunday with some snow falling Sunday night.
If headed out on the road or taking air travel, track any incoming precipitation with MinuteCast® down to your precise location.

Much colder air will blast in behind the storm next week after mild weather on Sunday.
It is possible winds get strong enough to cause minor regional flight delays during Sunday night into Monday as the colder air rolls in.

Ahead of a second and colder push of air, an Alberta Clipper storm has the potential to bring accumulating snow to part of the area Monday night into Tuesday.
By the middle of the week, the area may experience its coldest weather of the winter months so far.
Temperatures could be no higher than the teens on multiple days during the second half of the week.
Gusty winds associated with the waves of arctic air will make it feel much colder than the actual temperature. AccuWeather.com RealFeel® temperatures will be 15-30 degrees lower than the actual temperature at times.
The weather will be painfully cold for those not properly dressed when venturing outdoors and could be dangerous for others.
