As the weekend develops, warmer conditions will settle into the Minneapolis region with mostly sunny skies.
Temperatures could hit more than 10 degrees above the normal high for this time of year at the 23 F mark.

By Saturday, daytime highs will reach into the upper 30s. A clipper system north of the area could bring a few flurries on Saturday evening, but no measurable precipitation is expected.
As the storm pushes away from the area into the evening, skies will be calmer and make way for sunshine into Sunday. Some clouds may linger, but sun will be the dominant feature.

With relief from the harsh cold, the milder weekend will provide ideal conditions for any outdoor activities.
Temperatures will rest in the 30s and hold constant into early next week.
Skies will remain partially sunny into Tuesday.
