Rainfall of 3 to 6 inches is expected for the area with the heaviest amounts falling closer to the coast.
The normal amount received for the month of December is 5.35 inches for the city. So far, December has recorded 0.80 of an inch of rain.

According to AccuWeather.com Meteorologist Brian Thompson, "a parade of storms" will push through the area into Thursday.
With this incoming barrage of storms, some flooding could occur.

Temperatures will hover in the mid-50s, which is above average for this time of year. Overnight temperatures will follow a similar pattern by resting in the 40s.
However, grey skies will dissipate into the weekend as sunshine makes a return. Temperatures will drop back down to seasonable highs in the upper 40s amid dry conditions.
