After a few chilly days graced Minneapolis at the start of the week, warmer air and sunshine are on the way.
Following Wednesday's seasonable highs in the mid-30s, each day following will increase several degrees through the weekend.
With no precipitation forecast in the near future, there will be many good opportunities for getting outside. Sunshine will be abundant for much of the week.
By the weekend, Minneapolis will soar into the upper 40s and will flirt with the 50-degree mark by Sunday. Those headed out for weekend holiday shopping will be spared from any bitter winter air.

Overall, it will be a decent weekend for hitting the shops as no precipitation is expected through Saturday. Roadways will be clear of snow and ice.
On Sunday, drizzle or a shower is in the offing.
